A Personal Message From Lindsay Yelland Chairman Of The Babbacombe Cliff Railway
It was with huge regret that we took the decision yesterday to close the Babbacombe Cliff Railway from Monday 23rd March 2020 until further notice.
The decision was made in the best interests of safety for both our staff and customers bearing in mind the current circumstances.
I am pleased to confirm that last week I advised our loyal team of staff that each member would continue to be paid in full throughout the closure period. We therefore hope that when we are able to reopen, you will continue to see the happy team members that you are used to.
The whole team here at Babbacombe Cliff Railway would like to thank all the staff, our volunteers and everyone who has travelled with us and supported us over the last (nearly) 11 years and should like to wish you all the best of health in the forthcoming weeks.
We look forward to welcoming you all again as soon as this becomes possible.
