Last Team Standing Larking About

What a lovely day we had larking about on the beach at this year’s Last Team Standing.  Loads of sunshine, hoards of happy faces and just really good fun.  The final big event celebrating ten years of community ownership of Babbacombe Cliff Railway and a decade that has seen the railway transport over 1 million people up and down the cliffs from Babbacombe to Oddicombe. And back.

Once again, Oddicombe Beach came alive to the sound of music and laughter – what more could you want on a September Saturday?

Full results are:

The audience take their seats for the matinee performance

To quote Bill Withers – “Lovely Day”

Last Team Standing coming soon

Join us for late summer fun on the beach at this year’s Last Team Standing.

Builds were super impressive last year and team places are already all taken for what promises to be, as always, a great afternoon of larks and laughter.

You’ve got the date in your diary, haven’t you?

Happy Anniversary!

1 August is the official date that the community took over the running of Babbacombe Cliff Railway ten years ago.  So, it’s a happy anniversary to all of us and thanks to everyone who has travelled with us, supported us or taken part in some of our fun and frolics over that time.

Amazing 2019

What a great year we’re having at Babbacombe Cliff Railway.
Hot on the heels of the ever so lovely John Ayres Ukulele Proms, we’ve just had our 1000th follower join us on Instagram and now have over 5000 followers across our social media platforms. Nice.
Celebrating ten years of community ownership and one million passengers transported over the past ten years, Babbacombe Cliff Railway is definitely on the up.
And down.
And up.
And down.
You get the idea…..
