We’re truly sorry to have to advise you that the repairs we have been trying to effect have been unsuccessful.

Regretfully this means that we will not reopen this year.

UPDATE 19/10/20

Sadly the repairs currently underway are taking longer than anticipated so we are now aiming to reopen on Saturday 24th October.

As always we will keep you updated with news as soon as we have it.

13/10/20 UPDATE/OPENING HOURS

**13/10/20 UPDATE**

We’re hoping to reopen on Wednesday 21st October if all our maintenance and testing has been successfully completed by then and we have everything crossed that it will! We will keep you posted with information as and when we have it.

Also, please be aware that when we do reopen, we will be open from WEDNESDAYS TO SUNDAYS INCLUSIVE ONLY. Hours of opening will be from 9am until 4:30pm.

Regretfully we will NOT BE OPEN this week due to an unexpected maintenance issue which cropped up on Friday afternoon.

Late Opening On Tuesday 29/9/20

**LATE OPENING ON 29/9/20**

We will be opening a little later on Tuesday 29th September 2020- Instead of our usual 9am start we will be opening at 11am.

This is in order for us to complete a small amount of maintenance work on the track.

We’re delighted to confirm we appear to have dried out following the torrential rain and will be open as usual from 10am today.

Thanks for the patience and we’re looking forward to transporting you to the delightful Oddicombe Beach and back once again!

Hi All

We have been having intermittent issues with the running of the Railway since the torrential rain of yesterday.

Unfortunately as a result we have had to take the decision to close for the moment.

As you would expect, our staff are working hard behind the scenes to enable us to reopen ASAP and we will keep you posted with progress.

As we have had to say rather a lot this week, thank you for your patience and we will update you again as soon as we can.
