What a lovely day we had larking about on the beach at this year’s Last Team Standing. Loads of sunshine, hoards of happy faces and just really good fun. The final big event celebrating ten years of community ownership of Babbacombe Cliff Railway and a decade that has seen the railway transport over 1 million people up and down the cliffs from Babbacombe to Oddicombe. And back.
Once again, Oddicombe Beach came alive to the sound of music and laughter – what more could you want on a September Saturday?

This was the fourth consecutive year of Last Team Standing. But, with teams asking to sign up for next year and spectators who enjoyed themselves so much that they, too, want to put in a team next time, interest in this event is far from abating…..
